Missions include:

• The Potato Run annual delivery of 42,000 pounds of potatoes to agencies feeding the hungry

• Nursing-home ministry

• Books Beyond Borders fund-raising project for rural Guatemalan schools

• Mexico mission trips

• Hurricane Rita Recovery Mission teams

• Homeless Weekend where students volunteer at the homeless ministries of Travis Park UMC and SAMM Shelter for the homeless

• Occasional meal preparation for homeless shelter

We award two $400 academic scholarships each year for “Outstanding Outreach Leadership.” See the director for more details.
